Description

An ankle-length first communion dress in satin and organza with a scoop neckline and short sleeves. Applique runs across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the ankle. The scoop cut sits low enough to show the collarbone. It works just as well in a communion service or a family ceremony.

Organza gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The sleeves are lined down to the cuff. The applique is stitched down flat across the bodice. A hidden zip closes the back. The bodice is lined through the middle, so the front stays smooth. Lining through the bodice keeps the front smooth. The front stays smooth thanks to the bodice lining. The waist seam is kept narrow, so it marks the middle without a belt.
