Description

A floor-length A-line evening dress in lace and elastic woven satin with a V-neck. The bodice is beaded, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The V stops at a moderate point on the chest. It works just as well in a formal evening or a prom.

The lace layers over satin lining, which keeps the pattern crisp to the hem. The beading is stitched by hand, so the row stays even. Cut to a moderate depth, the V frames the neck. The back fastens on a hidden zip. Underneath, the elastic woven satin lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. With elastic woven satin lining below, the hem keeps an even line. The waist seam is kept narrow rather than belted.
