Description

A short A-line bridesmaid dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a one-shoulder neckline. The bodice is cut in a diagonal pleat with hand-made flowers at the shoulder, and the skirt falls from the natural waist to above the knee. One shoulder takes the neckline, the other stays bare.

Over the satin lining, chiffon keeps the skirt falling lightly. The pleat runs on the diagonal across the bodice. The flowers are stitched at the shoulder. A zip at the back closes it. The diagonal pleat is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set diagonal pleat keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The diagonal pleat is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. It holds up for a wedding party ceremony on its own.
