Description

The dress is floor-length in organza, with a V-neckline. Beading, applique and a bow sit on the bodice, and the skirt is full from the empire seam to the floor. Cut at a moderate depth, the V frames the neck. That balance suits a hall reception or a church service.

The organza skirt sits over satin lining, so the volume holds to the hem. The sleeves are lined through the arm and stop above the elbow. The beading is set by hand along the bodice. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs, and the hem brushes the floor as you walk. There is no train, so nothing drags behind you as you walk. With no train, the skirt stays out of the way.
