Description

A tea-length A-line flower girl dress in organza and satin with a scoop neckline. Applique, hand-made flowers and a bow mark the waist, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. The scoop drops low enough to show the collarbone. It sits well in a wedding or a family ceremony.

Over the satin lining, organza keeps the skirt light to the hem. The flowers are sewn at the waist, not pinned. Rather than tied loose, the bow is fixed. A zip closes the back. The applique is set by hand, so it sits flat against the organza. Hand-set applique keeps the detail sitting flat on the organza. The applique is stitched by hand, flush against the organza. The tea-length hem stays clear of the ground, which makes the dress easy to wear.
