Description

A floor-length trumpet wedding dress in tulle and satin with a bateau neckline. Applique and hand-made flowers sit on the bodice, and the skirt follows the body before flaring into a detachable train. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone. It reads right for a hall reception or a formal church service.

Tulle gives the flare its shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The flowers are stitched onto the bodice rather than pinned. The train clips on at the back and comes away for the reception. A zip runs down the back. The skirt is gathered at the seam, which gives it something to fall from. Gathering at the seam keeps the skirt from pulling flat. The skirt gathers at the waist, so it keeps some movement.
