Description

A knee-length A-line bridesmaid dress in chiffon with a strapless neckline. A feather trim and hand-made flowers mark the waist, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to below the knee. The bodice is built so the neckline holds without straps.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light fall over the lining, so it holds its line. The flowers are sewn at the waist, not pinned. The feather trim is stitched at the waist. A zip at the back closes it. With chiffon lining below, the hem keeps an even line. The feather is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set feather keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The feather is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. The strapless neckline is cut to sit level across the chest.
