Description

A floor-length A-line bridesmaid dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a one-shoulder neckline. Applique and beading run across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor into a short sweep. One shoulder carries the neckline, the other is left open. It works for a wedding party or a formal dinner.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light fall over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. The neckline is finished with a band stitched flat. The back fastens on a hidden zip. The applique is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set applique keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The applique is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon.
