An ankle-length A-line evening dress in chiffon with a V-neck. The skirt is cut in layers from the empire seam to above the ankle. The V is cut to a moderate depth. Sleeveless and light, it suits a formal evening or a pageant.

Chiffon gives the layers their fall over the lining, so each holds its line. The V is cut at a moderate depth. The layers are set into the waist seam. A hidden zip at the side does the fastening. The bodice is lined through the middle, so the front stays smooth. Lining through the bodice keeps the front smooth. The front stays smooth thanks to the bodice lining.
