Description

A floor-length sheath satin prom dress in satin and tulle with a bateau neckline. Applique runs across the bodice, and the dress follows the body to the floor. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone. It is cut for a formal evening or a pageant.

Tulle gives the dress a light layer over the satin lining, so the sheath keeps its line. Applique is fixed flat across the bodice. The bateau edge is faced so it holds. The side seam hides the zip that closes the dress. From the waist down, the satin holds a clean line to the hem. The skirt keeps its line from the waist to the hem in satin. Underneath, the tulle lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The tulle lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight.
