Description

A tea-length ball gown little girl party dress in satin and organza with a halter neckline. A ruffle, a belt and beading mark the waist, and the full skirt falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. The halter leaves the shoulders open.

Organza gives the ruffle its shape over the satin lining, so the hem keeps a clean edge. The ruffle is stitched into the skirt seams. The belt is fixed at the waist. A zip at the back seam closes the dress. The ruffle is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set ruffle keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The ruffle is stitched by hand, flush against the satin. With a tea-length hem, the skirt clears the ground as you move.
