Description

A floor-length A-line mother of the bride dress in chiffon with a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps. Applique runs across the bodice, and the skirt flares from the empire seam to the floor. A matching jacket covers the shoulders. Through the middle, the plus size cut holds the same line.

Over the lining, chiffon keeps the skirt falling light to the hem. Narrow straps are stitched into the edge of the bodice. Applique is sewn flat against the fabric. The back laces up to set the fit at the ribs. The lace-up closes the dress, which keeps the back looking tidy. The applique is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set applique keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The lining runs to the hem, so the skirt keeps its shape as you move.
