Description

Cut to the floor in chiffon, this bridesmaid dress has thin straps. The bodice is cut plain and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The straps sit wide and thin, so the shoulders stay open. It works just as well in a wedding party or a formal evening reception.

Over the lining, chiffon keeps the dress falling light to the hem. Each strap is sewn into the edge of the bodice. The skirt is gathered at the seam, giving it something to fall from. A zip closes down the back. The detailing is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set detailing keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The detailing is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. The line works for a hall setting without needing a longer skirt.
