Description

A tea-length A-line wedding dress in organza with a scoop neckline. Beading runs in a band across the waist, and the skirt falls to just below the knee. A lace-up back runs from the waist to the top of the bodice and adjusts the fit through the ribs, which is useful on a garden day when you are standing for hours.

Organza gives the skirt a light layer over satin lining, so the dress keeps volume without stiffening. The beading is stitched down by hand so it sits flat, and no strand catches on the fabric when you move. There is no train, so nothing trails over grass or gravel. The scoop neckline leaves the collarbone open, which balances the fuller skirt. The waist seam sits narrow, so the middle stays marked without a belt.
