Description

A knee-length A-line homecoming dress in chiffon with a halter neckline. The skirt is pleated from the empire seam to below the knee, and the halter leaves the shoulders and back open. The bodice is cut plain through the middle. The cut fits a homecoming dance or a cocktail party.

Chiffon gives the pleats their fall over the lining, so the skirt keeps an even line as you move. The halter is cut to sit on the neck. A hidden zip at the side does the fastening, and the hem stays clear of the floor. There is no train, so nothing drags behind you as you walk. With no train, the skirt stays out of the way. Nothing trails behind, so the hem keeps clear as you move. The fabric sits flat across the chest, which keeps the shape tidy.
