Description

A knee-length column mother dress in chiffon with a V-neck. Applique and sequins mark the bodice, and the dress falls from the empire seam to below the knee. A matching jacket is supplied for the ceremony. The dress reads right in a formal wedding or a reception.

Chiffon carries the dress over the lining, so the column keeps a light line. The sequins are sewn by hand along the bodice. The jacket is cut to sit over the bodice without closing. A zip closes the back. The applique is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set applique keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The applique is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. The waist seam is kept narrow instead of using a belt.
