A floor-length A-line formal evening dress in satin and organza with a sweetheart neckline. Applique runs across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The sweetheart neckline sweeps across the chest and holds its shape. It works for a formal dance or a pageant.

Satin and organza layer over the lining, so the skirt keeps its line to the hem. The applique lies flat across the bodice, stitched in place. The sweetheart line is faced so it holds. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. The satin keeps a clean line from the waist down, so the skirt hangs evenly. From the waist down, the satin holds a clean line to the hem.
