Description

A floor-length A-line wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a lace-up back. Embroidery and beading cover the bodice, and the organza skirt falls from the empire waist in a full, even line to the floor. The embroidery is worked into the organza rather than laid over it, so it reads as part of the fabric. The lace-up back adjusts the fit through the ribs, which keeps the sweetheart bodice secure through a church ceremony.

Organza gives the skirt a light layer over satin lining, so the dress holds its shape without feeling stiff. Embroidery carries from the bodice into the top of the skirt, which ties the two halves together. The lace-up back can be loosened at the top and tightened at the waist, which helps the bodice sit closer to the body.
