A floor-length A-line evening prom dress in satin with a halter neckline. The skirt is pleated from the empire seam to the floor, and the halter leaves the shoulders and back open. The middle of the bodice is left plain. The line holds up for a formal evening or a prom.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the skirt keeps its line to the hem. The halter sits on the neck rather than the shoulders. The pleats are set into the waist seam. The back is closed with a hidden zip. Lining through the bodice keeps the front smooth. The front stays smooth thanks to the bodice lining. The waist seam is kept narrow, so it marks the middle without a belt. A narrow waist seam marks the middle on its own.
