Description

A sweep train ball gown wedding dress in tulle and satin with an off-the-shoulder neckline. Applique and beading run along the neckline, and the full skirt falls from the empire seam into a short sweep. Cut to cross the arms, the neckline leaves the collarbone clear. The dress works for a hall reception or a formal church service.

Tulle holds the sweep full above the satin lining. The band is stitched flat where it meets the arm. Beading runs along the bodice by hand, laid flat against the fabric. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. From the waist down, the tulle falls in an even line. Below the waist, the tulle hangs straight. The sweep at the back is cut short rather than trailing.
